Charges

The hire rates for new users of the Main Hall and the Small Meeting Room (also known as the Committee Room) are given in the table below.  The table shows the rate for all casual, one-off hires (for parties, for example), and for new regular users.  For regular users, there are three charging bands:

• Regular non-commercial – day. Applicable to weekday hires that finish before 17:00.
• Regular non-commercial – evening and weekend. Applicable to all weekday hires ending after 17:00 and all weekend hires.
• Regular commercial. The same rate regardless of the day or time.

In these rates, non-commercial users are defined as those which do not make a personal or business profit as a result of their activities in the Hall.

The rates given below are hourly rates.  There is a minimum booking time of one hour, and a minimum charging period of 30 minutes (at half of the hourly rate.)
