The Village Hall is now fully open for new and returning users! If you haven’t already returned, we hope to see you back soon!
We have revised our Covid-19 risk assessment to take account of the changes to Government guidance. Whilst many of the restrictions can now be removed (including the prohibition on using the upstairs gents toilet, and on having more that one group in different parts of the Hall at a time), we will maintain the one way system for the time being and hand sanitiser will continue to be available. We will continue to clean the Hall regularly (thanks to our brilliant cleaner Maura for all of her work), but may no longer do so between every hire. So please make sure to wipe down surfaces at the end of your hire.
We would ask all regular users who have returned or are returning to please update their risk assessments for use of the Hall and forward them to the Hall Manager.
Sadly, we have been notified that a few regular users will not be returning. We will miss them. But this does open up space for new groups to use the Hall, so if you have been thinking of using us for your regular meeting, activity or event, please do get in touch to check availability.
